How Do I Become Saved?

This question is the most important question you can ask in your life. And Good News! The Bible provides clear answers to this question through scripture.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

Everyone is a sinner. There are no exceptions.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23

Death means separation from God. Eternal life comes by trusting Jesus Christ only.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

God loves all of us sinners so much that He gave His Son to die for our sins.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:9

To be born again you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and declare that you accept Him as Savior.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

Salvation is a pure gift from God through his abundant grace, if we declare our faith in Jesus Christ. It can never be earned by the things we do or by simply being a “good person” (our “works”).

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:13

This is God’s promise to you that if you receive Jesus, He will receive you.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
